        The Shanghai Yi-Gang Network Technology Co., Ltd., (hereafter referred to as U-TRANS) was founded in 2002; its technological predecessor was a translation agency within the Chinese Academy of Sciences, established in 1985 and directly affiliated to the latter. From the very day of its founding, the unremitting evolution of U-TRANS has accompanied Shanghai's internationalisation process. While carrying out services of refined and professional English and Japanese translations as major languages, we took the lead to establish, on a national level, a department of “eleven strengths of rare foreign languages,” having its foothold in China and integrating translator resources from all over the world. At the same time, being centred on the specific language needs of its customers, U-TRANS offers a wide range of services such as native linguists' proofreading, editing, design, typesetting, printing, website localisation, audio and video localisation, foreign clients service centre outsourcing etc. We are fully aware that merely being a good translator is insufficient: what you need is a specialist able to resolve effectively your problems.
